Connotative mutations in words have played a great role in methodological development of culturology. Due to them the science obtained and continues to obtain new terms, which reveal new meanings and intellectual scopes in old notions. Namely this fact allows us to prove that history of culturology, as science, is history of connotation of the most significant terms.
