ARC e-Books

E-Book, an electronic book or a digital book is a book-publication in digital form, consisting of text, images, or both, readable on computers or other electronic devices. In a single word e-Book is an electronic version of a traditional print book and many e-books exist without any printed equivalent.

ARC Publications has instigated e-Books for its all category journals. We publish e-Books in all fields of Science, Engineering, Management and Technology etc.

Process of Publishing e-Book

Preliminary Review: All submissions are first considered by the Managing Editor to determine whether they are suitable by consulting members of the Editorial Board.

Contract Agreement: Once the author’s proposal has been approved, a contract is prepared to confirm of publishing the e-Book with us. This contract will include important details such as publishing date for e-Book/ Book chapter, Publication charges, copy right transfer to author and any specifications author need to consider as his/ her to prepare the work. Once the contract has been signed by author and countersigned by ARC Publications, we could proceed with further process of publication.

Peer Review: The submitted e-Book/ Book chapter is assigned to our Editorial board member for review process. Our Editorial Board members are asked to provide feedback on Quality, Originality and Academic Standards of the submission. Editorial board members will give below outputs.

  1. Accept outright for immediate publication
  2. Accept subject to minor corrections
  3. Accept subject to major modification
  4. Reject

Based on the comments of Editors, author has to correct the submission and send back on time line for smooth publishing process. ARC in House Proof-reading: After receiving final submission from author, ARC-Editorial office will proof-read it in-house. We will then send author a first copy of proofs for author’s reference. Author could suggest us with corrections or modifications.

Author Guidelines

  1. The book must be written in English, all pages must be numbered in sequence, facilitating the reviewing and editing of the ebook/chapter.
  2. Need to provide a Letter mentioning that the submitted book/chapter has not been published previously nor is under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  3. Authors may submit their manuscript files in Word (as .doc or .docx), LaTeX (as .pdf).
  4. Book Layout

Title Page: This page contains the title of the book, the subtitle (if any), author's and co-authors names and affiliations.

Table of Contents: This part has to contain the chapter titles preceded by the chapter numbers.

Contributor’s information: Contains names of all contributors to the book, in alphabetical order with their affiliations and addresses. The format of the list of contributors should be as follows:

  1. Author's last name, Author's initial(s),
  2. Name of University/Organization/Institute
  3. City Name
  4. Country Name
  5. Book Content

Book Content is essentially made up of chapters, which may be grouped into Parts or Sections that are typically numbered with roman capitals (Part I, II, III). Chapters are usually numbered with Arabic numerals (Chapter 1, 2, 3,.).

There are no explicit requirements for section organization between these beginning and ending sections. Articles may be organized in different ways and with different section titles, according to the authors' preference. In most cases, internal sections include:

  • Materials and Methods
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Conclusions (optional)

Abbreviations should be kept to a minimum and defined upon first use in the text. Non-standard abbreviations should not be used unless they appear at least three times in the text. End Pages, This may include:

  • An appendix is a reference section at the end of book. The information should be provided in a condensed form. A single appendix should be titled APPENDIX, while more than one can be titled APPENDIX A, APPENDIX B, and so on.
  • A glossary appears at the end of a book and includes terms within that book which are either newly introduced or at least uncommon.
  • Bibliographies range from "works cited" lists at the end of books and articles to complete, independent publications.
  • A detailed list of Index of the specific information in the book should be arranged alphabetically.
  • e-Book/ Chapter Length: The minimum page limit of the books is 50 published pages. There is no restriction on the number of figures, tables.
  • Footnotes: Footnotes should be numbered them consecutively throughout the book/chapter. The position of footnotes should be indicated in the text and be mentioned separately at the end of the chapter, not in the Reference section. Pricing
