In recent decades due to the rapid development of household chemicals and cosmetic industry, the researches on surfactants have become increasingly important. Therefore, surfactants are used more and more areas. Surfactants for petroleum industrial application have been introduced in this study. Demanding analytical and impact assessment methods are needed for the development of modern surfactants. A commonly used combined method is not known thus the best option is a unique combination of the properly selected methods.
