Development portends a gradual or immediate progression from a position of weakness to strength and fosters forms and patterns which lead to a realization of incremental human values. Development communication is concerned with disseminating the message of development which involves the application of communication techniques, principles, and technology in the development process. This paper explains in close detail, the role of the media in the realization of a social and communal project in the developing town of Isuochi in Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia State, Nigeria.
