Abstract

Density, speed of sound, IR of binary mixture of o-xylene, m-xylene, p-xylene with t-butanol have been measure at 303.15 . The excess molar volume VE and excess Isentropic compressibility KsEhave been calculated from the experimental value.
The experimental sound velocisity data have been analysed in terms of free length theory (FLT) and collision factor theory (CFT). The experimental result are discussed in terms of intermolecular interaction between unlike molecules
